Privacy

This page sets out what happens to information when you use citycyclinglife.com. It is short because the site does very little with data.

The contact form

The form asks for a name, an email address and a message, and is handled by FormSubmit, an external relay that forwards the message to our inbox. We keep messages only for as long as the exchange takes. There is no newsletter, so nothing is added to a mailing list.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard access logs: IP address, browser string, page requested and time. They exist for security and to investigate errors, and the provider rotates them on its own schedule. We run no analytics package on this site, so there is no first-party visitor tracking beyond those logs.

Advertising and cookies

This site shows advertising served by Google. Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads, and in some regions to select ads based on earlier visits to this or other sites.

You can change this yourself. Google's ad settings allow personalised advertising to be switched off, and browsers can block or delete cookies per site. Blocking them breaks nothing here, since the site has no accounts, no logins and nothing to save.

Children

This site is written for adults teaching children, not for children. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone below the age at which their local law allows them to consent to data processing. If you believe a child has sent us a message, write to us and we will delete it.

Your choices

To have a message deleted from our inbox, write and ask; there is no form for it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights to access or correct personal data, and the same address is how to use them.

Changes

Material changes to this page move the date below. Minor wording fixes do not.
